An Eventful Week with Jessie!

Jessie had great week with the 2C Cheetahs in Johannesburg.

On Monday, she met our new student Myesha. She was happy and welcoming to our new friend.

On Tuesday, Jessie was pretty scared, tired, and hungry because our school was on lock-down after some mean people tried to scare us.

On Thursday, Jessie attended her first (and last) assembly! We saw students share about what it means to be “ethical” and how to plant a garden and during the “dance break” she danced the Nae Nae with us!

IMG_0260 On Friday, Jessie got to have another fun day with our 4th Grade buddies. We all worked on our “Genius Hour” projects and then she went out with our student teacher, Mr. Z, because he had to be on yard duty.

Jessie has had a lot of fun with us this week… but our fun times are almost over. We have another big week planned with her and then she’s off to her new school!
