Wëllkomm! Well it was inevitable. As soon as someone as special as Daisy came to play, she was immediately shared with all of lower school. Ms. Sykes’ fourth grade class stole her for the day! As we all know at Fort Worth Academy, Ms. Sykes is about to begin her new adventure in Luxembourg this June, the same place Daisy will be going to next! Ms. Sykes class has been learning about the country and could not wait to show Daisy all that they knew.
4th graders have been working for weeks perfecting their skills using Google Build. Today we showed Daisy our skills on the site. We built an incredible castle in Luxembourg, and hopefully when she gets there she will be able to see her magical castle in person!
We also learned how talented Daisy is at fourth grade math. She got an A+ in converting between fractions, decimals, and percent.
Ms. Sykes’ and her fourth grade class loved showing Daisy and the kindergarteners all about LittleBits on Thursday!
Daisy seemed to enjoy learning about a day in 4th grade and trying out new technology, and she really appreciated them helping her get ready for her next journey to Luxembourg! Eich si frou mat dir, Daisy! (Luxembourgish for “I love you”)
