Due to breaks in school (and the absence of the classroom teacher for about a week), Buddy was only able to spend about a week with our 1st Graders at Immanuel Lutheran in Michigan. We did as much with him as we could around Halloween!
We did a Religion lesson about how the pumpkin can remind us of Jesus’ love and carved a pumpkin as we learned! We hope that Buddy has the love of Jesus in his heart as he travels on this year!
We also read books by Norman Bridwell about Clifford the Big Red Dog for the month of October. Buddy got to spend some time with Clifford and his friends while he visited our classroom.
Buddy enjoyed playing with us during our rainy indoor recesses, learning with us, and is ready to move on to his next school!

We have 3 dogs at our school and one of them is big like Clifford, except he isn’t red.
