Jerry visits Year 1 at Chinese International School in Hong Kong

For the second year in a row, Jerry spent September at Chinese International School. He enjoyed practicing his Chinese and being called by his Chinese name 吉利 again. (You can learn how it is written in his blog post from his visit to CIS last year- Jerry has a Chinese Name.) He also joined in math lessons and center time.

Jerry and his bear friends have been learning about The Global Goals for Sustainable Development. As Jerry is particularly passionate about Responsible Consumption and Production (using things wisely and not wasting), he was very pleased to help our Year 1 students recycle.

Jerry received his brand new passport last week. Here he is getting it stamped.

While we are sad to see him move on, Year 1 students are excited to watch Jerry on his journey. His next stop is to visit Ms Langlands and her students in Muscat, Oman! Safe travels, Jerry!

  1. Oh my goodness…we are SO excited to meet Jerry the Bear. All of the students loved the video that our friends made at CIS. Our two Chinese classmates were really excited that some of the video was spoken in their home language. We’re just days away now.
    …thanks for sharing!
