Max’s trip to The Abbey Junior School!

Here at the Abbey Junior School, Max has thrown himself wholeheartedly into the school’s 130th celebration and the end of term fun! During his short visit to us, he has enjoyed the Trans and Prep (Year 1 and 2) Easter Cafe where he ate far too many biscuits and Easter nests; participated in House Music with the KS1 winning house (Kensington); taken part in an Easter Egg hunt in the school gardens and supported the ‘Sports Relief’ charity event! All alongside participating in normal day-to-day lessons.

This year, the school is celebrating 130 years since it was established and Max was lucky enough to be award a 130 challenge ‘1887’ badge. In order to get this badge, you need to have done something which pushes you to step outside your comfort zone 130 times. Prep decided that since Max had travelled over 130 miles (close to 24,000!) he certainly deserved a nomination.

The girls have thoroughly enjoyed having Max to stay and wish him all the best with his onward journey to Chennai, India!
