We are delighted to have Buddy join Ms. Virpi and Ms. Karen’s class here in K2 at The KAUST School, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In Ms. Karen’s class Buddy participated in a variety of learning engagements, we are enjoying a inquiry on ‘physical challenges and healthy lifestyles’.
Ms. Virpi’s class wanted to take Buddy to a special place in KAUST, so they took him to the King Abdullah monument. The location was beautiful! The children showed Teddy the turquoise Red Sea and the astonishing monument.
Children were acting as risk takers and trying out what they can do physically. Children were sliding, hanging, swinging and exploring the playground. The children loved carrying Buddy with them and were quite responsible and caring.
Our time with Buddy has come to an end so we popped to the King Abdullah Mosque to say goodbye before handing him over to Muneer at our DHL post office to send him to Ms. Kendra’s class in Hong Kong.
