Hi to all of Freddy’s friends,
Freddy arrived safely at The Phoenix School right after Thanksgiving break. We were delighted to see the things that had been added to his suitcase since he left Singapore. We especially loved the beautiful embroidered jacket that must have come from Mongolia — and his furry boots. We appreciated the Pilgrim and Native American costumes since we live near Plymouth where the Thanksgiving story took place.
Freddy arrived during our Creative Arts block which is when we turn our artwork into beautiful gifts for our families and friends. Freddy has been helping us make our different items. He has also joined us for our week-long Hour of Code and wondered if any of his other friends took part in this global event. James filmed Freddy helping him to make a hoverboard which you will find in his suitcase when he gets to you. Our bookkeeper is knitting him a Phoenix hat so he will be warm when he arrives in Switzerland.
We have a series of Animotos that we have made but we cannot figure out how to post them here. Hopefully someone will send us some directions because so often a picture is worth more than 1000 words.
