Daisy is having a great time at Fort Worth Academy! Last Thursday Mr. Broderick, our Head of School, and two brave kindergartners introduced her to the entire school on the morning announcements, sharing about the adventures she has been on and the places she will be going when she leaves us.
Daisy has received many invitations to other classes and looks forward to meeting more students throughout the week. She got to meet the oldest students in the school when the kindergarten classes met up with their 8th grade buddies for an egg hunt.
Along with the kindergarten classes, Daisy enjoyed learning about the holiday Purim from 3rd grade student, Bar. We loved shaking our noise makers!
After some reading and writing reflection, the students got Daisy ready for a visit to Ms. Sykes’ fourth grade class where she would be spending the following Monday.
Daisy spent the past two days with 3rd and 4th grade students, and we look forward to hearing all about her time with them tomorrow!
