The following and last week of Teddy’s stay in Lagos, Nigeria, we had a Teddy’s day! The children brought their own teddies to school and Teddy had a blast. We danced, read stories, played in center games with eggs (because Easter is just around the corner), and Teddy helped the children make piñatas for our Easter celebration. Before the day ended, the children went out with all the teddies to the playground and had a lot of fun sliding down the slide, swinging, and running around.
My students loved looking after a traveling Teddy once again! I look forward to next year’s visit!
