In 1st grade in Indiana, we spend a few weeks learning about making different kinds of graphs in math class. We learn about surveying the class to find out the answer to a question (what is your favorite color, etc…) and then we take that information and display it in different kinds of graphs. 1st graders asked each other about their favorite kinds of food. Here is Tessie with some of their favorite answers:

- bananas
- orange juice
- yogurt
- peanut butter
- ice cream
