Teddy, Freddy, Jessie, and Bessie have said their good byes to Ms. Peter’s class and Mr. Bullio’s class. Teddy is on his way to Australia, while Freddie has already arrived in Hong Kong! Jessie is going to find her way to Chile and Bessie is on her way to New Zealand.

Hello! Each bear is going on a different trip so it will take different amounts of time to get to different places. Bessie still has to visit a few other classes before she makes it to The Phoenix School. If I had to estimate, I think she will probably arrive at your school sometime in February.
Bessie cannot drive to her next school because there are no roads from Taiwan to New Zealand. Can you find these two places on a map or a globe? Bessie had to fly to New Zealand! If you check the blog often, I think our friends in New Zealand will let us know when she has arrived 🙂
A QR code is a funny looking square with lots of little dots and lines. If you use an iPad or a smart phone with a scanning app, it will bring you to a website or a video. You will get a QR code too when you get Bessie, and what it links to will be a special surprise for you!

Where can we find the names of the cities where Bessie is going so we can be more accurate when we put a pin in our map for each place she visits?
There is a map of Bessie’s itinerary on the home page of this site which may help you plot your map more accurately. But I would also suggest trying to contact each class as they recieve Bessie to learn more about exactly where she is 🙂 It would be a great opportunity for some global learning 🙂
We can’t wait for Freddy to arrive and are tracking his travels on google earth! When do you think Freddy will arrive in Shanghai?
I predict Freddy will probably get to Shanghai around the end of November 🙂
