We have had such a great time with Max. He arrived at the perfect time. The 2nd graders are venturing into their Where We Are in Place and Time: A Journey of Discovery unit. They have been inquirers as they researched with an atlas to see where Max has been and where he will go next. He was very lucky yesterday to be part of our class as we learned about how the Hokule’a has traveled the world (without the use of any modern navigational tools)…just like Moana! He has become part of our family. We are sad to see him go but look forward to following his adventures on Skype, Twitter and this blog. Aloha Max!!
