In STEM class, Stevie inspired our little engineers and architects to demonstrate our school theme, Think Compassion. A problem was posed for students, How can we get Stevie to the gym from the STEM room without using the stairs? and our ES engineers designed different solutions to help Stevie.
Here is a presentation that launched the process for our students:

Their efforts, innovation, creativity and compassion for equal rights were visible and sincere. Now that Stevie has moved on, some students have iterated on their parachute design to help Stevie when there is no elevator.
Thanks so much for coming to our school and teaching us about inequalities and compassion!
