Teddy arrived at Mercedes Benz International School, Pune (India) yesterday after a long journey and was given a warm welcome in the traditional Indian way, that included an Aarti and a tilak applied on his forehead.The children were very excited to see Teddy and wanted to perform the arati for him too. After welcoming him, we had a discussion about Teddy’s gender, and tried to guess whether it is a girl or a boy?.
Later, the children had a look at the wonderful video that was sent by Helendale Road school in Rochester. Some of the children were curious to see Teddy’s passport to find out where he came from, so we looked at all the countries Teddy had travelled.
The Preschoolers are all delighted to have him in school and are enthusiastic to learn and explore with him. They have taken the responsibility of looking after him and take care of him
