What a busy trip in Singapore for Hero Bear! He started off his stay by following different nursery classes on a trip to the Chinese Garden. He took the MRT and then got to exercise by walking in the park. He ate a healthy picnic and enjoyed spotting the Singaporean wildlife…a number of monitor lizards dozing in the sun!
Back at school, Hero Bear went to the vet for a health check. The vet was delighted with Hero’s health, he knows the importance of keeping fit and exercising.
Hero Bear had many opportunities to keep fit while at Tanglin Trust School. He enjoyed riding on the back of tricycles, running in the playground, pulling his way up the climbing frame, balancing, jumping on the trampoline and he was a risk taker by exploring the climbing wall. Of course, he had to wear a helmet to keep safe! He had tremendous fun at soft play and tried walking across the monkey bars, making sure he went slowly and carefully so he did not to fall through. Well done Hero!
Being healthy also means eating healthy food! Hero Bear enjoyed taking part in our snack hatch sessions: he tasted oranges and beautiful frozen bananas! One class even made a fruit salad for him, it was delicious!
Before going on his next adventure, Hero went to a special Chinese New Year assembly. He joined in with the music and listened to the story of the Zodiac learning all about the year of the dog.
