Stevie Beario was lucky enough to visit a 4th-grade class at our school, Betsy Ross Elementary. They took very good care of him! Stevie went out to P.E. with the class. In our school district, students have 30 minutes of outside PE time per day.
Stevie also visited their classroom. In 4th grade, students learn all about our state of California. They learn the regions and the natives who lived on the land first. They learn all about important land resources and crops/foods that are grown in California in our Central Valley! We have four regions in California – the desert, the mountains, the Central Valley and the coastal region.
Stevie also helped students do some math! At our school, we use a visual-spatial math program called ST Math on the computer… in addition to MyMath. We love math!
Thank you so much, Mrs. Gonzalez and class, for taking such great care of Stevie!
