I arrived in Russia, in the Siberian republic of Khakassia in early October. I thought it would be very cold in Russia at that time. That’s why, I wore a jacket and a warm scarf. But the weather was quite warm for these places. Sunny weather and green trees around met me in this wonderful city of Abakan. Abakan is the capital of the Republic of Khakassia. It is small and very cozy. Last year, my friend, the teddy bear Jessie, stayed here in the same school. My arrival was greeted with great excitement!
The students are nice boys and girls of my age. You know I am 9 years old and my new friends are also 9-10 years old. They study in the 3rd grade. First, I visited Tahmina! But I’ll write about my visit to Tahmina’s family in my next post.
