Student Collaboration
Our 4th grade students at St. Gabriel’s Catholic School in Austin, Texas have been working on a unit that tackles the Global Goal of Zero Hunger. They are working with Central Texas Food Bank and have learned about food insecurity in the capital city. They are writing letters to local government officials, doing research on this issue, and creating posters to share school wide to build understanding about the importance of not wasting food. A few of them visited Daisy and the first grade students to teach them a little about what they have learned so far.
