Freddy seemed very happy to arrive back in Canada after his world-wide adventures. We took some time to go through his passport and souvenirs and learn all about the people and places he has visited. He especially seemed keen when we asked about the different nature he observed along the way!
He enjoyed helping us to make jam, lemon squares, and banana scones for the Mother’s Day Tea. He was also an honoured guest at the event.
He loved playing outside in our courtyard building forts out of sticks. One of his favourite places in the classroom was the home corner.
We have 2 Junior Kindergarten classes who were keen to host Freddy during his visit. This portion of his stay, he was with the Eagle group. We have lots of eagles here in British Columbia. He is now with the Bear group – we also have many bears where we live.
We will give another update soon – we are enjoying our final days with him.
