Our 5th-grade class has 1st-grade buddies. We learn together and help each other. Our buddy classes made Stevie Beario glyphs together. We practiced our coloring and cutting skills. We used the information from our glyphs to make graphs and learn about each other. We could tell from the way Stevie Beario looked what our answers were. For example, if students would like to go to the Olympics, they placed a bow tie on Stevie. If they would not like to go to the Olympics, they placed a necktie on Stevie. We compared our answers and made bar graphs from the results.
