Matteo has arrived to our school in Offaly, right in the middle of Ireland! We are in St.Mary’s Primary School in Edenderry. We were all so excited to meet him. He has settled right in and has joined us for P.E., reading and play in the past week.
We thought Matteo might like to experience an Irish sport whilst he was here as we know he loves sport- he never takes his jersey off! We brought Matteo along to G.A.A. training with Mairead last week. We have been working on our Gaelic Football skills recently. Gaelic football is a bit like soccer, except you can bounce and carry the ball too.
We have lots planned for Matteo whilst he visits our school. He has already visited some other classes and all the children are eager to meet him!
