After spending her time at school with us in West Vancouver BC, Karima ended up spending the next 3 months at home with our teacher-librarian, Mrs. Thomas. While there, she took part in some Google Meets and library live sessions!
She particularly enjoyed the Rock Monsters story (written by a local author) while she was here and spent a lot of time looking for Rock Monsters in the neighbourhood. A lot of children all over our area were doing the same thing during this time.
As a souvenir, Karima has packed her own Rock Monster to bring to the next school along with a copy of the story for others to read and enjoy.
