Footy came to FKI today. Footy, which is also called Australian Rules Football is a sport that is played only in Australia. There are 18 teams from all around the country who play. The players are very fit and their aim is to kick the ball, which is oval shaped, between two big posts to score a goal. A goal is worth 6 points.
Teddy got dressed up in his favourite teams colours. The team he loves is called Carlton or The Blues. Teddy learnt all about footy and how to kick the funny looking ball. Teddy had a great time during footy day.
