Jerry is having a great time in Sydney with the kindergarten students at Padstow Heights Public School.
We have done so much with Jerry since he arrived. We have had great writing lessons, learnt about the places where Jerry has visited, sung along to many different songs, and have improved our counting skills, just to name a few!
The students have loved having Jerry Bear come and visit, he has been a very welcomed member to our classroom. Jerry has not only helped us with our learning, but he has been a friend for those who are having a tough day, an extra group member when needed and has put a smile on everyone’s face.
Today Jerry participated in an assembly performance, helping those students who feel a little nervous about getting up in front of the whole school.
Kindergarten will miss having Jerry Bear around but wish him the best with his travels and hopefully he will be able to tell all his friends about the wonderful time he had in Australia!
Wow Jerry! it looks like you had a great time down under. Here in Muscat, we wish you could have take us with you because we learned that it’s WAY cooler in Australia than in Oman. Maybe next time!
