The International School of Zug and Luzern is proud to host Daisy the Travelling Teddy Bear this year. Many teachers and classes were excited to host Daisy for a brief stay before she heads off to explore the world at the beginning of October.
So far she has helped Early Years students (3 and 4 year olds) transition to school, make friends and learn a bit more about the earth. They learned Daisy likes to travel to other places. Students looked at a real globe and and understood that it was a planet–our planet. We used Google Earth to look up some exotic spots like China and India. Many of the younger students then wanted to try and locate their homes.
