Max’s Texas Tales

Max visited the first graders of Westlake Academy, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. His visit was timely as students were inquiring into the ways “lifestyle is impacted by location.” Students looked at Max’s previous travels and they mapped his journey on a globe.

Max participated in the celebration of first grade’s writing. Students shared their small moment stories, giving peers feedback, as they recognized and honored individual growth and progress.

Max enjoyed a morning at the Nutcracker Ballet as first graders learned how performances express feelings and communicate ideas. This really got him in the holiday spirit.

We will miss you Max, but we will still be following your journey as you make new friends at other schools!
