Learning About Empathy With Stevie

Inspired by Stevie students of the 4-C form had a very special lesson. First, the children watched and discussed the video from Stevie’s passport about a boy in a wheelchair and his friends. Then kids tried to imagine how visually and hearing disabled people feel. They tried to draw and recognize classmates’ faces being blindfolded and sat in complete silence with their ears closed for a couple of minutes. This experience was extremely emotional. We hope that now we understand people with special needs better.
