Freddy in Singapore

The children at Tanglin Trust School enjoyed showing Freddy around our nature gardens. He looked at the many growing plants and wildlife.

He had great fun playing in the new EYFS mud kitchen where he measured and weighed lots of muddy ingredients to make a scrumptious meal. Mmmmmm!

Freddy listened to lots of lovely story telling in our garden wigwam. He can’t wait to meet his other traveling teddy friends to tell them all about his adventures in Singapore.

Mr Foakes, our nature expert  helped Freddy to get a closer look at the giant moth that had just emerged from the chrysalis in his classroom!
As this is the largest moth in Asia and the world, Freddy was thrilled to meet him!

Freddy was lucky enough to watch a pair of weaver birds build their nest in the Infant walkway. We promised to send him a photo of the babies once they have hatched.

The Lions came to our school to welcome in the Chinese New Year. Freddy loved saying “Gong Xi Fa Cai” and singing “In the streets of Chinatown, just like all the years before…”
