How we are helping to make a difference…
Our first grade students adapted this activity to address the issue of Zero Hunger. They applied what they had learned about food insecurity and how it relates to food waste from their fourth grade friends. They made plates that represented how they would make responsible food choices by choosing healthy foods that they wouldn’t waste. They learned a lot and had fun teaching this to Daisy!
