Hero visits Uxbridge, Ontario

Hero came to visit us here in Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada for half of April and May. The kids were so excited to meet him and learn about where he has already visited. Using his passport, we watched the videos to see everything Hero has experienced so far. Everything looked like so much fun. What a lucky guy!

Each student in our class took turns looking after Hero for half a day and including him in our current activities. Hero helped the students complete some research, listened to stories the kids wanted to share and helped with some math questions on Prodigy.

During his visit, Hero enjoyed a Canadian Easter with Mme Teed and her family. He even watched a Toronto Blue Jays game!

Hero also helped with making our Mother’s Day gifts.

Finally, Hero joined us on our trip to Pioneer Village where the grade 3s learned about Canadian communities from the past for their social studies unit. Hero had a great time playing pioneer games, walking around the village and experiencing life as a Canadian pioneer.

We hope you enjoyed your visit with us Hero! Good luck on your future travels!
