Students watched videos about the real-life person Steve Serio. They were amazed at how well Steve Serio plays basketball and how he can shoot a basket so high up in the air! They loved watching him play against other wheelchair athletes, too! After watching some videos, Stevie Beario went outside and everyone played basketball. Students learned how to dribble, pass and shoot the ball! Did you know Steve Serio not only won GOLD MEDALS at the Olympics, but he ALSO won an ESPY award? WOW!
