Matteo has been learning about the solar system with grade 1 students. He listened to non fiction books and fiction books about space. The grade 1 students read so many books that inspired them to create realistic fiction stories about space.
Matteo also visited kindergarten classrooms. There he learned all about letter sounds and how letters make up words that we can read. He told and listened to stories and kindergarteners read to him and showed him around their classrooms and school.
With PreK students Matteo did some yoga and mindful rainbow breaths, danced to fun energizers and read many stories as well as sometimes took nap with the little ones. He is currently on a tour of ISD and the PreKB Bunnies are showing him around the school teaching him what they do at school.
He has been to a elementary assembly, had fruit for snack, played at recess, listened to stories and played a brain break game. He went to Mandarin and art class.
He celebrated Moon Cake or Mid autumn festival, China’s Golden week, Halloween and experienced a hot summer and cool fall.
He will be traveling to California, USA and then Finland, and Canada.
