Although we’re sad to see our dear friend, Max, get packed up to leave us and prepare for his next stop, we’re all super excited that he’s off to Rome, Italy now to make new friends and have a great adventure in another part of the world.
Max’s last days here were packed full of activities. We took him around our downtown in our pretty famous city. Although Salem, Massachusetts is known best for the famous Witch Trials of 1692, we focused on more of the other attractions and the history of our city. You can see the photos on our Facebook Page from that trip.
Once Max was all packed and ready to go, including his passport and wearing a brand new sweater and hat, hand-knitted by one of our staff members at Phoenix School, we brought him to the shipping store to send him off.
We all had to give him a hug and said a final goodbye! We’ll miss you, Max! Have a great trip to Italy!
